As the situation with COVID-19 continues to improve, these protocols are in place at our center.
Masks
According to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) and VDH (Virginia Department of Health), we can remove masks indoors with a group that is fully vaccinated. As we work through vaccine appointments, our center will continue to require masks for employees and participants. There is no end date for masks.
Participant Area is limited to only participants and staff. We have worked hard to provide a safe environment and that area remains restricted, not just because of COVID-19, but also because of HIPAA. We ask that you wait just inside in the door or just outside the door and we will escort your loved one to you.
Vaccines
We do not currently require vaccination for COVID-19, but we do strongly encourage it.
Hours of operation
The center will continue to close at 4:30pm, as we continue our cleaning process and will remain so until further notice. Please remember that there is a late fee for after 4:30pm pick-ups.
Cleaning
We continue to clean high-use areas throughout the day.
Screenings
We will continue to screen employees, participants, volunteers, and guests. Anyone who is exhibiting signs of COVID-19 or any other communicable disease should not attend until symptoms are resolved.
Volunteers
We are slowing inviting back volunteers. We will be maintaining 6-10’ distances unless we have masks or plexiglass barriers. We know that volunteers offer their wonderful time and talents and provide a great service for our programs. We want to get back to normal but will do so gradually.
